Status Bar
The status bar shows lightweight workspace state at the edge of the app. It is for signals you may want to glance at without opening a full panel.
What belongs in the status bar
Status information can include editor state, plugin indicators, sync state, word or character counts, and other small plugin-provided signals. Exact items depend on enabled features and plugins.
How to read status signals
Use status items as prompts, not as the whole explanation. If a sync, plugin, or editor state looks wrong, open the relevant panel or settings page for detail.
Keep it useful
Too many status items reduce the value of the bar. Disable plugin indicators you do not use and keep important signals visible.
